Honestly, I am just THRIVING right now. I’ve wanted to start a YouTube for the longest time and I just never did. There’s not one particular reason why, it was just a lack of simply doing it. And then, as I started filming, I think there was always an underlying fear of being judged, but that comes with anything in life. As I’ve been in business anded learn to do things differently, I’ve discovered I’m not the norm. I find meticulous things fascinating, I notice details that are typically overlooked – in general, I think the content I enjoy, isn’t the same content that hits the masses. But 2020 was also supposed to be my year of f**k it, I don’t care, just get it done. And in a parallel decision the universe was also, f**k it, I don’t care, just shut it down. So, I’ve found myself in a rather opportunistic situation – everyone is so board they’d watch paint dry and I have a little extra time on my hands.
So, let’s chat about the Tube. If you found this post, you probably know a little about me, but if you’re new here:
I own the best indoor cycling studio 6YCLE, with my best friend Taylor. We’re located in Pittsburgh, PA and live in the same apartment building. Not the same apartment though, because we’re together enough! She’ll most likely be in ALL of the YouTube videos, since my primary focus for the channel is about my life and how we own, operate, and create all things 6YCLE. Expect a lot of behind the scenes videos, since there is typically TOO much going on. I think seeing what we do from start to finish is not only cool, it’s possibly informative. You’d never know though, because it would be buried under layers of sarcasm and wit. Then at the end of the video you’re all “Wait, did I just learn something?” Yes. Yes, you did. We’re in the process of starting a podcast, which truly centers around what mistakes we’ve made as business owners. It’s chalked full of humorous stories. The secondary chuck of content will unintentionally be videos of my dogs. I can’t help it, I am obsessed!
I really hope you enjoy the video. I’m still learning how to plan the video, get sweet angles, and be set for good lighting. If you could kindly oblige and click the link below, I’d really appreciate you taking the time to watch my first YouTube video. And let’s be honest, it’s not like you have anything better to with being on COVID19 house arrest. Also, please like and subscribe!
